For best results with our journals, maps, and grid paper, we recommend using:

  • Mechanical Pencils

    0.5mm, 0.7mm, or 0.9mm firm leads for crisp grid sketching and fine cartography detail.

  • Soft Blend / Wax Pencils

    Wax-based colored pencils for smooth shading on terrain maps and campaign region boundaries.

  • Quick-Dry Gel Inks

    Fast-drying gel pens to prevent smudging while taking rapid notes during high-stakes sessions.

Game Master Tip

Page Removal & Care Guide

We understand that Game Masters and players sometimes need to remove a page or two to hand out as map fragments or player notes. Simply tearing pages out can damage the binding or tear the artwork.

Recommended Method:

  1. Fold and score the target page firmly in both directions using a ruler edge.
  2. Align the ruler firmly against the score line.
  3. Slowly tear up and away from the book binding while pressing down on the ruler.
